This is the official blog of the Rowell Bosse North Carolina Room of the Transylvania County Library in Brevard, North Carolina. The goal of the Rowell Bosse North Carolina Room is to collect and preserve materials pertaining to Transylvania County families, businesses, organizations, and history.

Our collection of approximately 1900 books includes unpublished family histories, church histories, census, cemetery and marriage records, and high school and college annuals. In addition, the collection contains an array of manuscript materials and other formats including: microfilm, photographs, maps, oral histories, postcards, periodicals, newsletters, and scrapbooks.
